Yoga is almost identical to peacefulness. Deep breathing and slow yet elegant movements show even relaxing and peaceful ambiance. Even so, John Hopkins Medicine shows other benefits that you can get from doing Yoga. Are you interested in this Indian-origin sport? Other than comfortable clothes, there are several things you should prepare before doing Yoga. One of them is the decontamination device, Aerosafe Mini, that can improve the air quality around you while you’re exercising. Read below for more info!

1. Clothes

Buying clothes before doing exercises might sound a bit cliché but do remember that Yoga is full of various poses that require your body to be flexible. This is why you need the most comfortable clothes while doing Yoga. Make sure that you choose clothing that is made of flexible materials to allow you to move more freely. Alternatively, you can wear larger-size clothes than your usual. Be also sure that the clothes you wear are able to absorb sweat easily. Remember, even though Yoga looks like a simple exercise, it could make you sweat so bad. It will also be better if you wear clothes that can dry quickly. Also, if you prefer doing outdoor Yoga, it would be better if you choose clothes that are capable of giving you extra protection against the UV.

2. Yoga Mat

Generally, Yoga is done on the floor. There are many poses that require sitting and laying down on the floor. Hence, make sure that you use comfortable Yoga Mat. One of the criteria of a comfortable Yoga Mat is its size. Make sure it fits your posture perfectly. The regular Yoga Mat is 170x60cm in size but if you are taller than that, make an extra effort to find bigger Yoga mat.

Other than the size, you also have to pay attention to the material. There are several materials that are commonly used in Yoga Mat: PVC, TPE, and natural rubber. Each of the materials has its own pluses and minuses so learn more about each material before you choose one. The thickness of a Yoga Mat must also be a deciding factor of choosing a Yoga Mat. You can easily find Yoga Mat with either 6mm and 10mm thickness. Before choosing which one suits you better, you have to consider whether you will have to bring your Yoga Mat around or you will only put it in your house. The 10mm thick one is heavier yet providing more cushion between your body parts and the floor while the 6mm thick one is easier to carry but also could hurt you when you are doing Yoga for a long period.

3. Air Purifier Device

This last Yoga accessories will probably never cross your mind but having an air purifier device close to you while doing Yoga could be beneficial to you. As mentioned above, Yoga exercises involve deep breathing. Can you imagine if the air quality around you is bad? It will definitely turn your Yoga experience bad. You probably don’t know that doing Yoga for 30 minutes could burn the same number of calories as 30-minute walk with 5.5km per hour speed. Not bad, huh? Due to its high number of calories burned, you have to make sure to stay hydrated while doing Yoga. Put one bottle of drinking water close to you while doing Yoga!

So, are you ready to start doing Yoga?
